As we’re a charity, we need to have a voluntary board of trustees to control the finances of the centre and set strategic objectives. These trustees are informed in all the decisions they make by the monthly open meeting of residents. To use an analogy, the community as a whole steer the trust, but the trustees make sure we don’t crash.
Our current trustees are:
- Simon Redding (chairperson)
- Paul Davies (secretary/treasurer)
- Sue Webb
- Janet Ratcliffe
- Louise Collins
- Pete Spencer
- Rachel Baker
- Christina Krygier
The role of a trustee includes:
- Attending quarterly meetings;
- Listening to the community and setting strategic directions;
- Deciding on major expenditures.
You can contact the trustees through the chairperson – by email at email@example.com
We elect a new board every year, and we’re looking for local residents who could help to steer Loundsley Green Community Trust as it develops new services both inside the community centre & in the wider community. New trustees will be elected in by the community at our summer general meeting. If you’re interested in volunteering for this role and would like more information, please get in touch via our contact page.
